Unit 4 What can you do?(第一课时)教学设计

教学目标:(1)能正确听、说、认读词汇party,next,wonderful.(2)能正确听、说“What can you do for the party, children?” “Ican sing English songs.”等询问他人和表达自己的能力的交际用语。(3)能听懂、会说、会表演let’s talk的内容,并在真实场景中运用所学语言进行交流和运用。
教学重难点:
重点:(1)能够在实际语言环境中运用句型what can you do? I can……(2)能够表演并内化let’s talk的交际内容。
难点:能运用重点句型大胆创编和表演相关对话。
教具准备:(1)CD-ROM;(2)PPT。
教学过程:
Step 1 Warm up
1. Greeting
2. Sing a song “what can you do?”
3. Free talk
T: Do you know what day is it today?
Ss: It’s Wednesday.
T: What day is next Wednesday?
Ss: It’s Christmas
T: Yes, it’s Christmas. Next Wednesday we will have an English party. What can you do for our party?
Ss: I can ……
I can ……
I can ……
T: The New Year is coming. We will have a New Year party. What will you do?
Ss: I will……
让学生口头做练习册33页的习题,检测刚才练习的can的用法,学生的掌握情况。
T: Miss White will have a party. Let’s see what can Zhang Peng and John do for the party.
Ss: OK
Step 2 Presentation
1、自主学习let’s talk
要求:①熟读课文并理解课文意思。②Answer my questions:When will Miss White have an English party? What can Zhang Peng do for the party? What can John do for the party?
(自主学习的时间为5分钟)
检测:①Answer my questions;②选择班里学习有困难的4-6个学生来读一读课文,看看他们掌握课文的情况。③listen and repeat;④Read the dialogue together.
2、拓展练习
让学生先以小组为单位来自学练习册33页的对话。
自学要求:①熟读对话并理解意思。② Answer my questions: What can Candy do? What can Fay do? What can lily do?What can Lucy do?What can MS Li do?
检测:①Answer my questions;② Read the dialogue together.
如果学生没有问题了,就进行下一环节。
3、综合运用
老师在大屏幕上出示三幅图片Happy birthday, New Year party, Merry Christmas.让学生结合课本let’s talk和拓展阅读的内容,以小组为单位,自选一幅图片为背景,自编一组新的对话,然后表演出来。
Step 3 Homework
1、背诵let’s talk的课文。
2、完成练习册31、32、33页的习题。
3、把小组内自编的对话写在便利贴上,贴在书上。
